CBD and its uses…
“Both CBD and THC are chemically similar to your body’s endocannabinoids. This allows them to interact with your cannabinoid receptors.
The interaction affects the release of neurotransmitters in your brain. Neurotransmitters are chemicals responsible for relaying messages between cells and have roles in pain, immune function, stress, and sleep, to name a few.”
“Despite their similar chemical structures, CBD and THC don’t have the same psychoactive effects. CBD is psychoactive, just not in the same manner as THC. It doesn’t produce the high associated with THC. CBD is shown to help with anxiety, depression, and seizures.”

In session CBD is primarily used to help a client relax mentally and physically, though the benefits don’t stop there. Through my experience I’ve noticed a difference in clients that added CBD on to their session. They see longer lasting benefits of their massage. Some also experience fewer migraines or experience less pain during a migraine. Their chronic pain was lessened during the session and sometimes this lasted days to weeks, with regular massage. Again, the benefits don’t stop there. There is so much more CBD can do for people.
Give it a try during your next appointment and see what it can do for you.
